It's under 80 inches the way they are required measure it for that regulation. Not sure why that says 95, probably includes mirrors.

NHSTA measures by no-mirror width

CT no-mirror width is 79.9"

more detail:

CT is listed at 79.99 absent mirrors (not folded) - this is NHSTA measurement of relevance, no marker lights required (80" pretty standard for any 1/2 ton truck that isn't eg Raptor/TRX)

But that 79.99 includes ~4” of fender flare

It’s 86.6” wide with the mirrors folded, or a 95” mirrors out

For comparison, Lightning is 79.9” absent mirrors (and doesn’t have fender flares), 83.6 folded, 96” extended



Your Range Rover presumably 73.6” (no mirrors), 80.6” (Mirrors In) / 87.0” (Mirrors Out)

So, accounting for the CT’s fender flares (and it’s ‘hidden’ buldge at the middle section), metal to metal the CT is ~2.5” wider than the Range Rover

Explains in part how their interior dimensions (assuming RR standard wheelbase) are similar, with CT having a touch more shoulder room (not accounting for real-world packaging/ergo)
