With S and X out of the picture, Tesla has a less convoluted path to pricing their current lineup.

There's about a 100k order # difference from the lowest to highest reported online that I have seen. If even 20% of that is the promotional AWD, they sold 20k trucks in 10 days.

Elon said next step depends on how this promotion goes, and I think it's clearly going well. So, my prediction is

AWD base $65,990
AWD premium and Beast price slashed 5%

That's an extreme leap to think they sold 20k trucks. There's no basis for that.

I'm on board with 20k possibly sold. My guess would be the 10k-20k range.

I think that everyone would agree that if Tesla were to drop the price on the AWD Premium they would sell more, but they haven't, and probably won't. There is no point in dropping the price on the Beast; those who want it will pay for it. Period. If they raise the price on the new AWD more than $5,000 I think they will stop the orders, and the last thing they should want right now is for the orders to stop coming in. Flip/Flopping might 'work' for politicians but not for sales. Customers are notoriously skittish when it comes to companies not being reliable/consistent in pricing. Tesla could slowly raise the price and see what happens, and adjust, but they have to be smart.
