Low take rate? Provide evidence for that claim.
I have no idea what @jerhenderson 's intent was.

But I can easily see the Tesla selling more than a few thousand Cybertrucks and it takes longer to deliver, especially if they have any big factory issues.
Or they only sell a few thousand and the get them pushed out by the end of January.

It's all a complete crapshoot right now. Pretty sure that Tesla has plans, but even they aren't solid.

With your three Rivians and soon to be Cybertruck in your stable, you are starting a good challenge to Jay Leno and his garage!

Simple - there's no information to suggest whatsoever what the foundation series % purchase is. NOTHING. 0. Zip. Zilch. Nada. My intent was simply to challenge a fabricated %.

Just curious. What is the case law that supports your position?

While I tend to agree with you, there is the Orders List on this site that gives a little bit of insight.

Problem is, does the orders list represent 10% of the orders or 50%, or 1%. Internet forums commonly represent less than 1% of an actual population.

When they announced the $79,990 price for the AWD (which was the minimum trim I would want if I couldn't get the Beast) I pretty much gave up hope of enjoying any tax credit anyway, because all you need to add is $11 (or more) in accessory costs and you'd be over the $80K tax credit price threshold anyway.
So since the FS already comes with most of what I would have ordered, I went ahead and just configured one.
Because ... YOLO and carpe diem and all that. ?
Is it possible to order and on pickup immediately drop off at service for upgrades in a separate transaction? To have your tax credit and eat it too.

Oh no, do you know if the aptera actually gonna be a thing?
And how much are you liking the Zero? Did you have a bike before that one?

I'm not Rayzor, so I don't have a huge pile of expensive and pretty vehicles; we just have the Mazda, spouse's Ducati, and my Zero. But...

I love my Zero. It's the perfect bike to take in the mountains, or get to the grocery store in. In town traffic, I'm always first off at the light, and only the most aggressive liter can beat me to thirty. In the forest, it's just me, the curves, and my tires - no noisy ICE to baby along. I love it.

And Aptera is getting closer - the tooling is in for the production vehicles, they're vey light so their parts are made across the world and should be coming out this summer. The bodies are being made now. Fingers crossed; getting financing right now is super-hard and they were short some this year. But they've made progress.

Just curious. What is the case law that supports your position?
Depends on state law, mostly. You can always refuse delivery of products that don't fit the reasonable test.

Tho those features aren't promised at delivery.

I've wanted an electric for a long time because my 80s Yamaha breaks way too much. With a Zero dual sport would be cool to take it off road too.

Aptera is still around and production will commence this year, I hope, ??
I love my Zero, it's fast, lots of instant torque, super light. I've owned mostly crotch-rockets from Suzuki, Kawasaki, Hondas, Yamaha, and a trike by Can Am...Most of my bikes were totaled in less than a year?. Some of my favorites are my custom built Yamaha and Can Am:cool:

Yes, but the main disadvantage is that it doesn't roll into your loan (or messes up a lease). FSD is one of those that is much nicer to pay with a loan than lump sum cash.

Oh, I didn't consider that. Because interest rates are so high (my last car loan was 2.25%) I've been looking from a cash purchase perspective. Probably why I'm more critical about the higher prices and missed opportunities compared to initial reveal.

Except I am order number 678 and I have NOT been invited. I really doubt they are sequential. And if they are I’m going to be really fucking pissed off! Actually scratch that… I am already really pissed off.
