swing away hitch with bike rack?

anyone sure a swing out hitch with a bike rack? If so which brand is it. Given that our hitch is recessed a lot of them will interfere with the bumper.

I haven't mounted this on my truck yet (using a tailgate pad instead), but I've had it on other Tesla models. You can pull a pin and have it tip backwards. I don't know if it would allow the tailgate to fully drop when the rack is loaded with bikes though. ?

I have a 1up super duty rack already. I wanted to add a swing out hitch so i can access the truck bed easily

I have this swing one but it doesn't go down far enough for the tailgate to lay flat (sorry dirty from being in the garage on the floor all winter).
I'm not really sure the brand, I took a picture of the two markings on it.
Also if I want to open the tailgate I'll reverse the two bolts on it so they are facing out. It looks like they contact about the top of the tailgate.

I do think from generally what I've seen this is a normal level of swing down from many of the hitches.

I think your misunderstanding the post. I’m wanting a a swing out hitch in addition to a bike rack. that way i can swing out my bike rack to the side so i can access my truck bed. Thank you for the pics tho

actually there are a lot of option out there from Kuat, Saris, yakima, rig’s for instance. so just wanted to save the hassle of buying one and finding out it doesn’t work since our hitch is recessed that’s all. not being passive aggressive. sorry if your offended

Check the specs. Tesla has very specific guidelines on bike rack, especially focused on how far they extende. I expect the last one above has too much leverage to meet the specs.

Im guessing that the 1up by itself wont allow the tailgate to go all the way down flat when loaded with a bike?

1 up also makes their own swing mount, and theirs can accept things like tables.

I was looking at the Quickrstuff Mach 2, but they expressly say in their T&C's that a swing mount would void the warrranty.

There are others who have used the Kuat NV with no swing rack and they are able to open tailgate flat with a bike on the rack and the rack tipped downwards.

Quickrstuff cant guarantee this unfortunately.
