Thanks for posting. I had ordered a set of these, but I recently installed another set of running boards that are more traditional and hang lower, and in doing so, it occurred to me that I did not want running boards that are the same level as the rocker panel. There’s just not enough distance between that and the floor of the truck to make an effective step. In fact, my running boards don’t even offer enough step and they hang about 4-5 inches lower. That said, I really like the other running boards in development at TSportLine and may get a set of them as they are very similar to my new ones but are more compact. Can’t say enough good things about TSportLine. I even ran into Brian on a recent flight and he was a first class guy.

@T Sportline, @SONNYDUT, How much weight do they take? Do they flex to touch and put weight on the plastic side trim when stepped on? If they do, is the plastic trim rated for the load? Also, if a small stone/dirt is stuck between the metal step and the plastic trim, does stepping on it damage the plastic trim underneath?

@SONNYDUT, have you considered of any anti slip tape for the tread?
All good questions, things we thought about throughout the design and testing phases. The gaps and load ratings are well tested, we've been running these on our Cyber since January 2024 -- no issues. I can jump up and down on them, no issues - plenty of load bearing strength.

"The minus is the bolts and washers are zinc coated, not stainless steel."

Lame. I don't understand why these accessories companies do this. They all make great products and then cheap out on the hardware. I had issues with the bolts for a rack that I purchase from another accessories company. They should all just go with stainless to cover all locations of owners.

I also pre-ordered and live in Ohio so am sure these will seize with the salt and snow.

are they intended as rock slider or as a step? They do look pretty sleek, not an eyesore
