Tailgate won’t open! (Using switch button nor manual release)

Tried pressing the button and it won’t drop even though the app says that it’s open. I tried pulling the manual release and nothing is happening. Anyone have this issue or any tips?

Uhh... That's kinda dangerous. Means something is physically broken or stuck.

Finally got it to open using the app (after multiple tries) This does concern me. I’ll keep a close eye on it moving forward.

With all the people camping in the vault and Tesla not putting in a midgate like the other truck mfgs you will want to get that fixed right away. The covers break all the time and if you are back there and can not open the cover or the tailgate that could be a really bad situation.
