Tesla Light Bar and Alternatives

I like the look of the Tesla light bar, and the price doesn’t bother me, but I read mixed reviews about function. Honestly, what is the best light bar available right now based on the following metrics:

1. Function
2. Looks / integration with CT design
3. UI
4. Price

In 2024 I built my own light bars. One on roof. One under bumper. Easy. Cheap. Roof i use only off road. Under bumper i use all the time at night

The factory light bar subjectively looks great, is fully integrated with the truck as once connected, a new software menu appears allowing control of all or individual sections-Full bar, center section spotlight or side “puddle” lights. And for price, you get what you pay for-excellent engineering and integration! (As long as you get the BRACKETS version as is the latest release.

You nailed it...integration. My reasoning as well.

The integration 100% for me. And the ability to control the brightness in the integration is awesome and makes the light bar much more useful.

Really if you want something that is super bright and only serves that purpose do not get the Tesla lightbar. Other options are cheaper and brighter.

What the Tesla light bar does do:

• Integrates with the UI
• Brightness control
• Side and front control
• Lightshow full integration
• Native 48v system
• The part of the system look
• Slightly less energy resistance (mileage per watt)

If you want the Tesla seamless experience than the lightbar may be worth it.

(Context, yes I have it. Yes I offroad, no it is not the best offroading option if that is your primary goal. I like the full integration and am happy with how it works.)

I have the hansshow light bar, originally had the Baja style on order they never produced them so they sent me the bar. It was only 300$ and it’s very bright, can angle it up or down.

I’ve seen the xglow and it’s the coolest, Tesla is the third place not as bright as hansshow or xglow. There are pod versions Baja style but they are like 4k
