Anyone familiar with the CyberBeast Foundation Series “perks” would know that there was up to a $4,000.00 credit offered to help install PowerShare at your home. However, those who already had the necessary equipment were offered two (2) $700 vouchers instead. Not great.
But then it was clarified that the amount of the vouchers must be used in one transaction or the remaining balance would be forfeited. So for example if you bought the Ramp for $400 and applied a $700 voucher, the remaining ~$300 would disappear into thin air. Pretty shady!
Now, to add insult to injury, Tesla is not allowing the CyberBeast owners to apply both vouchers towards a single transaction. In other words, if you wanted to purchase the CyberTent which lists for $2975 and use your full $1,400 in vouchers (2x$700) the app will not allow it. And this isn’t a glitch. Multiple Advisors & Support Agents confirmed that the 2 $700 vouchers may not be combined.
And I’ve read the “fine print” for the Vouchers. There is no indication that they may not be used for one transaction or that they may not be combined.
Pretty sleazy Tesla!
