This was reported here several days ago from a sawd owner. No transfers on sawd but if they switch to pawd then they will do it
I looked didn't see a thread or any slight confirmation if we count those as media these days.

I don‘t think Tesla will see a lot of cancellations over this new FSD transfer policy. The margins must be pretty thin at $59,990.

If Tesla could guarantee a 60-day delivery window when upgrading to the Premium trim they could upsell a lot more SAWD reservation holders and increase margins. This offer would be very appealing to $59,990 reservation holders who are expecting delivery in 2027.

Not a Tesla App is not a reliable source. Much of their stuff is from TMC or places like here.

I'm not saying it's not true, but they sometimes post articles based on a poster's interaction with a Service Center or even single, undocumented Twitter post.

The release notes portion they put out is also wrong a lot because they don't wait for the release to go wide enough to verify.

I had a plaid x with fsd. I ordered a sawd but I would have done a premium. I sold the plaid private party because prices went crazy and bought a 2025 premium with fsd for $76k. If I can transfer the 2025 cybertruck fsd to a new premium I would do that. I have 22k miles on the truck and would love a brand new one. I still have my sawd reservation.

How do we inquire about this?

I don't have FSD transfer on my SAWD order, but I do have the option for "Full Self-Driving Supervised) for $8000 on my order agreement. Tesla has not reached out to me saying I need to switch to a premium AWD or a Cyberbeast to keep my FSD. I originally had and order for a premium ASD with FSD, but converted it when the $59k sale happened.

How about an $8k refund for HW3 FSD cars.

Many of us didn't even pay $8K for FSD on our Hardware 3 cars. Our two 2018 Model 3 both have FSD with Hardware 3 and I think we are only into FSD for around $3500 on each car. It's already paid for itself IMO, but we will be getting new computer hardware and higher res cameras to allow unsupervised FSD on Tesla's dime. These cars last a long time and they still drive almost like new. I think 4 new dampers (shock absorbers) would make them drive just like new.

I just sent a text message to Tesla at the number I've corresponded with over the last few years when inquiring about cars. They confirmed with me that this is not accurate and you cannot transfer full self driving. They said they also went up a few levels of management and they confirmed the same thing The only option would've been if you ordered a premium before the cut off.
I'm still hoping something changes but I told Tesla that if they will allow a transfer I will buy a brand new premium. Message below.

"After triple checking multiple internal sources, the program to transfer FSD on a Cybertruck order, ended on March 31st. If you had modified your order from a Standard to a Premium prior to the 3/31 Cutoff date, then the FSD transfer would be protected and grandfathered in."
