At this point in time I've spent about as much time in cyber beast loaners than I have in my own founders AWD. Ok, well not that much.. But a good amount of time in the CB.

I personally don't feel the acceleration difference as much as other people seem to. I think some of it has to do with perspective and how high the trucks sit relative to the ground. Or maybe to get the full feel you have to take off in launch mode (I never used launch mode).

Don't get me wrong, I know the CB is faster and it does feel slightly faster when I gun it from a stop. But really not as much as I expected. Maybe I'm just dead inside.

Contrast that with when I've been given a 2025 model S plaid loaner, that car felt down terrifying when punching it from a stop.

Launch mode shaves at least 3-4 tenths so ya you haven’t felt it yet.

Wow that lift is seriously expensive! Seems like 39's would be a bit of a stretch given the size of the wheel wells - they mention in a blog post that up to 37's will work. I bet it would look awesome though!
Darn. Only 37s? I've seen people put them on with just the cybertruckco 1" lift rods and a heatgun to the wheel well.

You don’t get the full CB experience in a loaner. You have a maximum speed cap and it definitely affects your launch.

You’ll need to get into someone’s private vehicle, so that you can recalibrate your thinking with the correct information. It’s not a subtle difference.

What I need.. is more range and quad motor with an FSD transfer.. waiting in my own little private waiting room with my 'slow' awd...

I test drove the AWD and tried going up a steep hill from 5 mph to 60. That's when I realized the difference between it and the beast.

The speed cap only applies to top speed, and all modes remain fully available in a loaner vehicle. There is no need to 'recalibrate' my information.

Instead, let's focus on reading comprehension: I clearly stated that I was sharing my subjective driving impressions of both vehicles. I never claimed my experience as an absolute fact, nor did I say everyone else would feel the same way.

I am in no way trying diminishing your justification for purchasing the Cyberbeast.

You reach the 85 mph cap before you get the full effect of the acceleration. You don’t have the full picture. That‘s just a fact. You’re entitled to think whatever you want for whatever reason you want.

Beyond that, I have nothing to add. I’m not looking for any external validation for anything.

Weirdly, I’m in a loaner FS/CB as we speak because LEO is in getting his PCS fixed! I know the acceleration like the back of my hand. It is not the same.

Placebo? Or maybe they have yours set in parental control mode? Everything I’ve seen online says the power is only limited once you hit the cap. Which is of course why I’m lacking the full picture as you stated.

Driven multiple of both. Yes the CB is faster off the line and up to 60 but its past 60 that the AWD doesn't compare at all to the CB. The later continues to pull strong past 90.

There’s a chasm between “knowing” and thinking you know.
