Tesla submits building plans for Montebello Dealership/Delivery/Service Center

On Instagram: cityofmontebello, August 20th, a new Tesla dealership is expected to open in Montebello, Ca this fall, at 1345 N. Montebello Blvd. Exciting news as this will be super close to home And close to the 60 freeway near the Montebello Towne Center. This building used to be the old Costco store a few years ago until they moved across the 60 freeway.
I never thought my city would ever have anything Tesla so this blows my mind, plus not having to go very far for any service or repair for any of my Teslas. Now all I have to do is to get my NFS CT from them!

Here’s what the former COSTCO in Montebello looks like at this time. They did place a placard on the building face and a company banner of the freeway facing side of the building. This place is ginormous so they should have plenty of internal and external parking plus dock access here.
I’ll keep an eye for any updates.

Here’s the latest news. The TESLA vehicle distribution center is open now. I asked a person working there some questions and she said that the Service Center and Showroom will open sometime next year. They had about 1/2 dozen Cybertrucks out for the customer delivery plus other models, another 1/2 dozen Cybertruck inside being prepped and another 14 cybertrucks and other models in the parking lot as inventory. A mix of Model 3’s, Y’s Cyberbeasts and non-Foundation Series.

We also noticed that all the Cybertruck out there did not have the wheel covers installed.

That was quick!

Yeah, they sure are quick! This is one of the largest buildings around so they have tons of space to have TESLA Service, New Vehicle Prep and a Showroom all in one place, plus lots of parking space for everything. I couldn’t take any pictures inside but they have the back section curtained off for the future remodeling. HUGE!
