Pretty sure both Canada and Mexico were able to pre-order previously.

IMO this is super good news. Can’t imagine they’d restart pre-orders in these countries if it was going to take 5+ years to start getting deliveries there.

This gives me a little more confidence they've tested it in extreme temperatures.

**SIGH**

I need to vet stuff better. You kind of trust some sources are reasonably accurate. Sounds like maybe you’ve always been able to order in Canada and they just updated the page to make it a little more prominent.

@firsttruck Any thoughts on this?

The Mexican drug cartels are going to flock to the Cybertruck.
Not sure about that. I think they might experience extreme range anxiety in any EV when the Federales are chasing them in ICE SUVs or the army in real armored trucks with 50cals. There are few Tesla superchargers here and probably not wise for them to hangout there for 15 minutes.

ISIS prefers the old Toyota pickup trucks with the 22R engine. Diehard to the maximum!

IMO they shouldn't take orders.

They have over a million orders now. And the projections are for Tesla to make about 100,000 CyberTrucks in 2024. And 200-225,000 Cybertrucks in 2025.
They are not going to satisfy the million pre-orders until 2027.

They didn’t know they were going to get a million pre-orders when they opened up the ordering system. They also didn’t know they were going to be 18-24 months behind on production start.

Correct.
But, why open up taking more, new orders now?
Is that good customer service?

I would say no. It creates expectations, that they are unable to satisfy at this time.

Tesla does 100's of awesome, great things. But I don't think, just my little ole opinion, they should open up orders again. Wait at least a year.

There's no evidence they recently changed the ordering part of their website, tho.

Just someone noticed that it was on their website.

Remove it.

It is the best thing to do. Maybe put it back on in about year or so.
