Maybe they just don’t have enough data how it depreciates yet and afraid to lose money. In the aftermarket small upgrades like “leather” and premium sound don’t cost as much and these could end up taking a pretty good hit competing with used Y’s and 3’sThat IS interesting. I wonder why Tesla thinks there is no financial incentive for them to lease a M3 “standard” version. Could this possibly be seen as having an Osborn-effect vis-a-vis the Robotaxi?
Toyota is infamous for leasing their cheapest vehicles and they make decent revenue from it, or there wouldn’t be that stupid “Toyota Leasathon” thing every single year.
