You can rest assured that Tesla actuaries have crunched the numbers and assessed the risks. They have determined that it would be profitable to offer windshield insurance to Cybertruck owners.

State Farm does this for me for around 10 bucks a month.

My state requires 0 deductible windshield replacement as part of comprehensive coverage. God forbid you actually have to use it though (like i did) ^^^premiums^^^

I added the windshield protection plan after my windshield stress cracked when hitting a curb.
$420 a year for 12 free windshields if need vs insurance premium going up if used even once. No brainer for me seeing how easily they crack.
Cybertruck windshield is not a cheap $200 Safelite fix. that huge windshield is thousands of dollars to replace

Doing a U turn and the right front tire went up on the curb. It was either that or back up in traffic. Soon as I went up on the curb the windshield cracked. So yeah $35 a month so I can drive over curbs!

this tells me something is wrong with your build, something is loose causing the frame to twist and cause the added stress on the windshield, if you cannot climb a curb you definitely cannot do an off road trail. You should get that inspected. I have been over 3 foot ice banks to park on them and many of curbs, no issues.

Any type of plan like this is offered because it's profitable for the company. Meaning the odds are against you. I don't know what type of insurance you have but with glass I have no deductible.
