If you’ve got the Tesstudio cooler in your Cybertruck and you actually like sitting like a normal human, you may have run into this: your knee randomly smacks the side buttons and suddenly you’ve changed the temp, turned it off, or otherwise annoyed yourself for no good reason.
Maybe I’m the only idiot this happens to, but the button placement is honestly kind of impressive in the worst possible way.
So I made a fix.
I designed a small 3D-printed guard that sticks around the buttons with double-sided tape and keeps your knee from sabotage mode. Super simple, works great, and now the cooler only changes settings when I actually want it to.
I attached the STL in case anyone wants to print one for themselves.
PLA at 30% infill worked fine for me (no support needed). Print time was about 30 minutes.
