Hey Everyone,

I received my Cybertruck cooler yesterday and want to say I am impressed with the quality and functionality of the unit. I didn't think that I would replace the Tes Studio center console storage box, because I love the extra cup holders and organization features, but the cooler is awesome. I mainly bought it for a cross country trip I am taking in a week from California to Florida, and I wanted my snacks and drinks handy, without dealing with a traditional cooler/ice. The only improvement that I would dig are cup holders built into the lid, but that is minor. The cooler cools rapidly down to below freezing, and has sufficient insulation to keep the contents cold for a few hours after turning it off. I don't like keeping the outlets on for extended periods, even though the unit is efficient and quiet. I do have a discount code (CyberVeteran) 25% off that is good across the site, and I see they are also running a Father's Day sale at the moment too.

Installation was a breeze and the materials match the factory interior of the truck very well. Others have posted installation videos so I won't belabor that. Let me know if you have any questions. I did opt to plug the cooler into the front outlet, as I will be using the back seat and inflatable mattress to camp in, and I need the outlet for my CPAP, I know I could use a power strip, but nah. I did throw in a 12 pack of sodas, and there will still be ample room for some sandwiches on top. I saw another poster demonstrate that he could fit 23 cans or so of soda/pop.

I would like to get something like this (with a compressor), but something that's easy to remove when not needed. I only want it for long road trips, otherwise I like have the space open for stuff.

Install took about 8-10 minutes, removal likely way less (like 2 minutes), as you could just use the trim piece included with the cooler in place of the OEM Trim which you need to disassemble a portion of the under dash to remove/install. The one that comes with the cooler is a two piece unit.

After the initial install, are you saying that I don't have to remove any trim from the car again when removing and re-adding the cooler, with the exception of the side trim that comes with the cooler?

Correct, since it is a two piece unit. with the factory trim under dash carpet/trim needs to be moved so the one piece trim may be fitted.

Is that an under screen storage unit you have. I have wondered how this would fit with that under the screen. Do you feel like you have room to get into the fridge. BUT, the important question, how loud is it? The truck is pretty quiet, I'd hate for the fridge to be super loud.

Yes I have the under screen storage. I don't think it hinders my access, as the cooler door wouldn't stay open even if I didn't have the storage. But it isn't an issue as I can reach in even while driving to grab a soda and not even take my eyes off the road. But the cooler is pretty full right now, may not be the case if I had to reach the bottom of the cooler. I just hold open the cooler with the same hand I am reaching in with. I suppose I could do something with a magnet to hold it open, but it really isn't an issue. In order to hear the cooler, I need to turn the radio almost all the way off and really listen for it. In the Eco mode it is very quiet (less than a whisper), and it is still barely noticeable in the Max setting. I tried to record it with my phone, but it wouldn't register on my microphone, maybe it would if I held the phone directly near the vent fan..... but that isn't a real world scenario.

I’m thinking of Velcro on the dash to hold it open, I noticed on the other thread on the cooler, there door doesn’t have soft close. Mine does so maybe they can adjust the lid.

Hello, About 45 dB, little bit louder than wind noise.
If you are interesting about the cybertruck fridge you may contact me.

I just ordered a fridge from Tes Studio.

However, the fridge hasn't shipped yet and I cannot get a hold of the company. No luck via phone and email.

I am concerned. Has anyone else experienced this with Tes Studio?

Not sure if I can recommend this company again.
