I agree. It’s incredibly frustrating. I too am on my second s92 and have paid for pro installation twice.
fwiw, my truck is an earlier 24 FS so I’m not sure if that’s the issue.
In the spirit of ranting self expression, you know who else really pisses me off in this equation? The various YouTube “artists” (you know who you are) who spend time in each video explaining how they don’t take kickbacks and are only trying to do you a favor by offering you a discount code.
In reality they are making bought and paid for recommendations to our community as puppets of the Chinese marketing machine. Some of them even go on to make comparison videos willfully promoting inferior products over more reliable ones. The audacity.
I get it, the only fault is with me for listening to them in the first place and following the advice, but I’d like to take a moment to call these guys out. When you rewatch the videos in hindsight you can tell the product problems exist in them and that there is an active effort to disguise it. I wouldn’t know to look for it if I didn’t know what the problem is that I’m looking for.
Don’t believe me? Now that you know what to expect friends, I suggest you rewatch the “review” videos and see what you think.
To all of you YouTube cybertruck “influencers”, screw you guys and the bullshit lies you tell repeatedly to our community to get some door sills or butt massagers or whatever else they send you. Prostitution is prostitution no matter the price, but the fact that you are doing this for virtually nothing is not a point of pride, it’s shameful.
You’re dishonest scum and karma is a bitch.
