Thoughts on using generator to charge

Tow around your Tesla vehicle with another ICE vehicle for the regenerative braking to charge up the Tesla vehicle in tow. A ICE F-150 could tow on all four wheels of the Cybertruck around town. Don’t know if all four wheels would have to be spinning and for how many miles.

Yes, that will work. There is even a Youtube video out there where a guy demonstrates it. Fortunately for him he was caught by neither the police or Tesla. The former would have given him a ticket and the latter would have terminated his warranty. For reasons I don't claim to fully understand Tesla does not want you to tow your vehicle for any reason. Interestingly, Rivian had no such caveat until recently when they started advising against tug towing, AFAIK they still allow tow to charge.

Now if tour Tesla is at the top of a long hill the battery will take on charge as it rolls down. I really don't see how that is different from towing to charge.
