There weren't exactly 40 at the Stateline showroom but I did count at least 8 upfront. Must be more at the back. I tell everyone, separate the personnel from the vehicle and you will be more than pleased. Don't expect your free supercharging to be activated for at least 2 weeks is my big gripe aside from the fact that they only had 2 people on a Saturday doing deliveries and other jobs. Regardless, I was still more than pleased with the vehicle not withstanding all the updates coming as I type. ?congrats on your delivery. Can't believe the 40+ trucks they have sitting at the KC SC. They moved mine but I didn't have time to locate it. Still no contact from Tesla re: delivery. But I am patient.
I don't think the short-staffed delivery team in KC will affect you. I saw a transport carrier on 05/01 at the KC lot loading CTs to take to another location, such as yours. The Service Manager was out there with clipboard talking to transport driver. Not labor intensive. The transport drivers are on tight schedule and won't tolerate delay. KC Service Manager probably happy to clear the lot out a bit since it's overflowing and tightly packed.I wonder how this will impact their ability to get trucks onto to transport for satellite locations? Mine is supposed to arrive tomorrow in KC and then get transported to Des Moines SC since Tesla can't direct sell into Iowa. My guess is that even this simple transfer to another carrier will be delayed.
I beg to differ. My delivery experience was pretty much regressed to express pick up of a burrito and a coke.I don't think the short-staffed delivery team in KC will affect you.
