$5k for a forged set of wheels.

This isn't really an unfair price, considering the manufacturing process. IMO, I would be afraid to put a set of cast wheels costing less than $2k on a truck this heavy, but to each their own!

Been in the industry long enough to understand it! Price point isn't for everyone, and that's OK. There are plenty of other options out there for a lower price point.
