This is interesting as I also had a left body controller replaced. The morning after I took delivery of the vehicle (late November), I found the truck to be undrivable, but not bricked. The screen said there was an issue with the low voltage electrical system and it would only let me drive the truck after a safety override. I looked at the service mode and saw errors that implied a failed firmware update on the left fan controller—the truck couldn't communicate with the fan controller and my guess is that the cooling system was compromised as a result. I had to have it towed and two weeks later they fixed it by replacing the left body controller. I assumed they would replace the fan controller but apparently that wasn't the problem. Also had to get key cards paired again after the fix.
Have had software updates since and so far so good.
