The newest holiday update broke my sound system, the bass is pathetic compared to the day before!

I have moved the bars, moved the location of sound and tried different music sources Apple, tidal etc..

I doubt this has to be from our -35f temps in Alaska. Can anyone report the same bug?
Or perhaps it needs service?

Did you try a dual scroll wheel reset?
Then try Power Off?

Speakers (especially big woofers) are notorious for changing response in cold weather, as the rubber around the cone gets cold and stiffer. I'm in Michigan and I also experience a change in sound when it's cold outside. It can sometimes take up to an hour of the truck being warm for the rubber to soften up and the speakers to sound the same.

Super nerdy, but this is what's happening:

I think it’s the -35f temps, they can make the speakers stiff and the sub won’t have the same ohm range. Will get cab to 80f for 30 minutes to test

I’m pretty sure it’s the temps guys, the subwoofers thin membrane gets very rigid in below freezing, that limits the amount it can reverb and push air thus lowering power and decibels

Ahh dude, exact same thing happened to me and I made a nearly identical post yesterday.

So glad you brought up the cold. It has been below zero here.

Makes sense.
