YMMV, I did a KBB value request and dealers offered me 26.5k for my 21 model Y long range with FSD and acceleration boost. Tesla offered 33k. Of course, I'm still waiting for the new value since the first one expired.

Congrats on the vin, sorry to hear about the X and Y.
Are you basing the lower valuation on Tesla's trade-in offer or just the market in general. As it will be at least 6mo before I am confident in taking delivery of a CT I am looking at Model Y and the ones on the used market don't seem that inexpensive compared to a new one (with the tax incentive)

I bought my Model Y at the end of 2022 which was 2023. I added 3 extras to the car. Tow hitch + 20" black rims (car is white) and white seats. I also spend additional 6k on entire car being wrapped and ceramic coded and all the accessories.
The Trade in value from Tesla and Carvana is jjst ridicouluos. I'll have to sell this car on my own. It has 11k miles and still amazing car but cant and dont need it. I do want CT very bad so i'll take some lost and sell either one. I am planning to send a mass mail to our Tesla Owners Club if there are any interest.
As far as my X, it seems like i'll have to keep that one between the 2. But who knows. It is crunch time to make a decision for me.

@ttohumcu, no one but a private seller will give you anything for add-ons (ie wraps, different wheels, etc). In fact, they usually take money off when you have them. The only way to recover any value is to sell it privately.

Yup, you are 100% right. I will try that for sure. Also only Tesla fans will understand the add-on values.

I have a 12/21 order date, in California, and received my VIN on February 15th. Still waiting for a delivery date.

I now know what it feels like to see people after my 12/19 order date getting VIN's before me. The agony of the people with 12/8 order dates and no VIN is real!

Agreed. After you get it, prepare yourself for the agony of people getting VINs issued a week later than you and receiving a delivery date shortly afterwards. I’m on day 12 of a VIN still waiting for my truck to arrive from Austin. Have seen multiple people assigned VINs after me posting about picking their trucks up.

I truly feel bad for any 12/8, 12/9 AWD orders that haven’t received theirs yet. Or anyone before me for that matter. The waiting before and after is tough.

Do any of the order trackers record the "distance from a service center"? I wonder if that factors in. It's easier to fix issues when the truck is closer. My closest service center is 1.5hrs away. Maybe that puts me farther down the list?

It is possible. My closest pickup is 1 hour away.

Got it today! Was patiently waiting for a call to say it got delayed...but it didn't! It's surreal. Good luck to all those waiting...it's worth it!

That’s a good question. I don’t think any of the trackers captures that information but only Tesla knows how VINs are assigned. After receiving it you enter another waiting period for your delivery. Whole nother set of frustrations for some of us.
