Water drops/bubbles in C pillar glass (Solved: clear plastic film still attached)

Just noticed water drops/bubbles in my C pillar glass when washing it today. When I touch the glass the bubbles move around. Is this water or something else? Anyone having this problem?

Why? I am grateful that you posted this. I didn't know it either. This will save me some heart attack if it happens to me and I didn't know about the plastic film. Thanks for posting!

IMO I don't blame you for being careful..it is hard to tell now with screens and display whether there is protective plastic film or the material is plastic, or glass with plastic...or any combination thereof...

We did a home remodel and one of the contractors messed up the dishwasher control panel - thinking there was some protective film...and there was not....
