I regularly haul this in my Cybertruck, all in the closed vault to minimize the risk of theft:

A full set of equipment, everything needed on stage, for a keyboardist: Hammond A3 organ and its Leslie amp, Nord stage piano and its amp, microphones, stands and cables for everything, stool, folding dolly, music stands, microphones, and cables for the all of the band members. Nearly everything is protected in cases or covers.

Here is the gear partially loaded. The brown fiberboard sheet allow the items to be easily maneuvered into place. When I'm hauling typical stuff I cover it with an after market bed liner.

Here is the full load, ready to be covered by the tonneau. None of the music equipment is loaded in the under-bed locker, the frunk or the cabin, so there is plenty of room for luggage and such needed for road shows.

Here's my Cybertruck hauling a 1968 Cougar to a shop for restoration. Towing was no problem at all.

I haul ass, and sometimes I open the bed because it looks cool and I like to actually use the rear view mirror.

Wasn’t a scuff from rubbing anywhere, just used some rags to pad contact points. Probably could have made it look less goofy but it was secure so good enough!

Did you use a weight-distribution hitch? This is one of my use-cases, hauling a 10k load of gravel for road improvements on my parent's property. TIA

Hey, you either need to own a truck or have friend with a truck. I believe he agrees you have a truck, not sure if you are friends "yet"

How do you stop the vault is open complaint from the truck? I was carrying a big set of used outdoor furniture "my wife said we looked like beverly hillbillies", it kept complaining.

Nope, I didn't use any weight-distribution hitch. Just hitched up the dump trailer to the Cybertruck tow hitch. The trailer was about 5,000 lbs itself and I estimate the rocks weighed another 5,000 lbs.

I had to pick up my hay load this weekend. My old truck could handle 10 bales, so that's what I ordered. I think I could have gone with 12. I did have to leave the tailgate down, but still a success. I didn't have far to drive or I'd have also strapped down the top bale. These are around 140 lbs a bale. It did make me wish the upper area wasn't glass. On the old truck I'd sometimes extend things over the cab when needed and not worry. Cleaning all the nooks and crannies afterwards wasn't fun (there was hay everywhere). Old truck I never cleaned.
