Well that’s not true neither, Tesla Inventory is essentially, “off the lot”. It will be even tell you what dealer the vehicle is located at like a Legacy Dealer. The biggest difference is you buy everything online, the Salesman will text you, and you deal with Finance at delivery without any hassle for add ons.

To my eyes panel fitment is more noticeable on wrapped trucks. This example seems perfect.

Yea changing the color can definitely impact your ability to see gaps, for the most part the matte will magnify gap inconsistencies where glossy finishes tend to hide them a bit.

Wonder is there’s a specific gap value?
“Within x millimeters”

I might invest in a caliper.
I've got a number of calipers that can measure thousands of an inch and below and it never occurred to me to use them on door gaps.

In other words, the first sign you might be being unreasonable, is that you find yourself buying calipers to check the consistency of panel gaps on a car or truck.

If you see something you consider a problem, don't take delivery. If you notice it after you've already taken delivery, it's probably not too obvious. You can still report it to Tesla. They will either fix it or not. If you don't like it, you can buy Ford's, GM's or Dodges but, be aware, will probably have at least as high a chance of finding imperfections. My F-150 has leaked rainwater into the cabin since day 1 and three different Ford dealers cannot find the source of the leak. It kind of makes minor panel gap variations seem inconsequential (because the cab of the F-150 has a musty smell).

Oh, and our F-150 has an absolutely huge, ugly gap between the bed and the cab! I can fit two hands in there! :ROFLMAO:
