What's behind this front bumper panel?

Has anyone tried to remove this piece from the front bumper? What is behind it?

License plate holder

The truck comes with a license plate bracket that installs behind that panel. It was pretty easy to remove and the license plate bracket installs with three screws, then the plate attaches to the bracket. All parts were included and were in the bed compartment at delivery.

Like to know the license plate dimensions, and see one mounted. There is a camera mounted very close, and to my eye it seemed to be almost level with Australian plates.

Thanks for that, Our plates measure 372 mm (14.6 in) × 134 mm (5.3 in) we also have a slim line just 1.5in slimmer.

I'm sure it will work out in the end, but for those who will have a front number plate, looks like it will overhang above the bumper, otherwise it will cover the camera.

Yea, the recessed area for the plate is closer to 12.5", but still not wide enough even with the slim plate you mentioned. I'd be curious if they could ship a drop down bracket that would get the plate below the camera for those locations where plates are wider. Time will tell.

I read a recent post (can't find it now) about someone who broke the front license plate cover while removing it. If you take a flathead screwdriver and gently pry it open from the right side, the bottom will pop out. From there you can gently unclip the top. The Cybertruck comes with a front bracket and two bags of screws - one with 3 screws for the bracket that attaches to the truck, and another with 4 screws that holds the plate in place.
