Okay, this NJ winter got to me - or really my Cybertruck - and we sheared off one of the front plastic wheel fairings on a frozen mound of snow. Now that the weather is a bit warmer I was able to consider my options and thought about purchasing a replacement from Tesla until EVBase fortuitously contacted me and asked if I'd be willing to test their new wheel fairing delete kit. Timing could not have been better and without instructions I set off....

To save you all some viewing time (but feel free to watch it 2-3 times if you like) I only recorded installing the front driver's side wheel fairing delete piece. If I weren't filming and figuring it out at the same time it would be no more than 2-3 minutes per corner. If you're living in a snowy region or occasionally run trails with some rocks or branches you will likely lose a wheel fairing or two as well. They are basically held on by two screws and some plastic snap-in moldings - not much at all. Maybe bookmark this post ;-)

Yeah, I think that same pile of snow got my right fairing.

seemingly the same. I did look at the new pieces, wheel wells and existing fairings. Haven't tackled the rears yet.

It’s quite an involved process removing the rear fairings.

I concur with the above about the rears. Not nearly as easy.
