Well this sucks. Got my VIN 2 weeks ago, filled out all the insurance info, did everything except make final payment , anxiously awaiting delivery date, and .. POOF - my VIN is now GONE. WTH? Now I am back to square 1 …. ?

any ideas why they would assign me a specific VIN and then take it away? I know it’s not personal, but given that this is my fourth Tesla, and I’ve been with the company since 2012,… just sayin’…. I want my CT w/AS tires…

See above. I did all the tasks except make the final payment. Didn’t make sense to me to pay $107,000 for a car I’ve yet to see or get. However, that tab says “pay remaining balance now to avoid delays in delivery.“ did they remove my Vin because I didn’t make a final payment? There was no delivery date, and others have stated on this forum that they didn’t pay until they actually saw the car for pick up.

I was informed by a local SC that the payment could be made on delivery day. Many people on these forums and on YouTube did just that without any issue. It is shocking that your VIN disappeared. Does your bank still have sufficient balance to cover the CT invoice balance? I am paying cash for my CT. My VIN, issued on 8/17, still shows in the app. I always make sure that my bank account, which is linked to Plaid, always has more than enough funds to pay in one shot just in case they check.

Could happen. My wife lost her first Nissan Leaf because it was on the dock waiting to ship to the US when the big Tsunami hit northern Japan. Weird things happen. She had to wait another 3 months for another one to get here.

Yikes, that was thoroughly depressing, but also grounding. Need to keep in mind that I’m lucky enough to be able to afford such a vehicle, and I just need to be patient. There are about a billion worse things in this world. ?

Well, patience is a virtue and what once sucked is now un-sucked. Just got a new replacement VIN - about 650 cars later. Woo-hoo! Awaiting to be messaged about delivery window … soon. ?

I finally got a delivery notice this morning, 8 days after receiving the VIN. I am in New Hampshire. I have to go to Paramus, NJ to pick it up. It will be a family event. The earliest appointment is Friday 6/30. So that's what I chose. My truck has grey interior and all-season tires. After the pickup, I will have to drive hundreds of miles home. I will track the AS tire efficiency and report it here.

Wow, Paramus NJ, that's quite a trip for you. That's also where I picked up my CT.
It is so hard to reach any staff there, they never pick up the phone. How was your experience with them?

I configured tactical gray and all season tires as soon it was offered in late May. Still showing July/August delivery estimate, ha ha. Surprised that I haven’t seen anything about the Pirelli ATV all season tires other than that’s what supposed to be paired.

any speculations on why there are no all season tire cybertruck deliveries to date, and to the best of my knowledge, I’ve not seen any in the wild being tested??? I would think by now we should’ve at least seen a few test vehicles with the All Season tires verifying range increase …

sorry, just getting antsy, been five years,… and yes, I know if I switch to AT tires now I could get a vehicle tomorrow, but I really do need the extra range.

so waddya think… Tesla trying to squeeze out sales for as many cybertrucks already made? Manufacturing problem with these tires? Newly design covers don’t fit on these tires? Other?
It was available for my configuration date- I chose Grey and ATs delivered in June.

I saw these non FS though. Maybe headed your way I hope I see one AS and 3 ATs

When it comes to Tesla, it's best that you show up to the service center in person, or communicate through the app. Pick up was painless. No paperwork to sign or provide by Tesla. I just had to make the final payment via the app and set up my phone key. The Tesla guy was friendly. I did not ask for and he did not provide any instructions on how to operate the trucks and its features. I watched almost every single Cybertruck YouTube videos that were available so I was very familiar with the truck by the time I picked up mine.
