While on FSD and clearly marked roads, does your CT hug the left line and occasionally go over it?

My CT drives about 8" off-center to the right most of the time. It never drives in the center. It runs off the road to the right several times each trip, driving over the rumble strips, and even onto the shoulder rarely, usually at highway speeds. It also drives over the center line sometimes, particularly when the road veers to the right or if the wind blows. This causes potential head-on collision scenarios. Tail-gating of semi-trucks is better with v13.2, but it still passes dangerously close, on the right side of the lane.

All of this is duly reported to Tesla. After about 10 reports (per trip), your ability to send reports is stopped. Also, if you grab the wheel to correct the steering without turning off FSD (i.e., avoid a collision), you will get strikes and loose ability to use FSD until parked. As a result, I recommend cruise control.

Keeping the vehicle within the traffic lane should be a #1 priority, in my opinion. Until this is solved, nothing else really matters.

While my CT was in for service 12/11, requested SC to clean the forward camera view (precision cleaning of inboard glass). It was dirty.

With FSD 13.2.2, it is working very well for me. Stays mostly centered.

I'm still having the same failure method on I70 in Colorado... frequently a foot or two over the rumble strip, usually to the left. Sometimes it gets halfway into the neighboring lane and gives up and changes lanes without indicating.
I've noticed it tends to happen around bends in the freeway that are fairly long but not very sharp. The steering just doesn't steer enough to stay in the lane. Similarly if FSD ever tries to change lanes to the inside lane on a curve it just does the indicator but doesn't change lanes until the end of the curve.

I have a service center appointment for unrelated things coming up. I noticed they automatically added "Clear Forward Camera View (Precision Cleaning of..." so they seem to have some knowledge that (at least my) Cybertruck wants such a clean, and likely they think this is the cause of the issue. I don't think it is a camera issue though, the car knows where it is in the lane, it is a control failure.

yeah, there is some sort of bug that they haven't been able to resolve yet. I bet it has to do with the new steering system. Mine gets far worse when I am hauling my bike on a hitch mounted carrier.

I'm still having this issue months later. Did a lot of driving this weekend and it definitely hugs the outside of the lane (left when in left lane, right in right lane) to the point where I was on the run le strips multiple times. Also noticing that it takes forever to change lanes....we are talking 15-20 blinker clicks. It was definitely annoying during the 5+ hours of driving I did this weekend.

Mine did this when I first picked it up about a week ago. After the last two updates it seems WAY better.

Same boat here. Im running on 2025.8.6 - FSD 13.2.8 and no improvement on the lane centering. But as with the blinker clicks, I just found myself super annoyed last week with how long it takes to switch lanes when in Hurry mode and large gaps in traffic. Im not sure if its just in my head but I find myself disengaging and re-engage FSD after I make the lane change. Ain't no one got time to wait.
