Well, I prefer the factory look, but some of you guys might like polishing in some racing stripes, eh?

I'm thinking of trying some of the WWII fighter invasion stripes with a toothy nose...

Even stainless steel has to be waxed. Stainless steel has a small amount of regular steel in it. Polishing it puts a layer of petro on the sheet metal to seal it away from the rain.

Or the fuselage of some of our greatest planes like B 17 B 24. Polished to s mirror finish.
Word of caution, there have been tickets and fines imposed on “ mirror” vehicles. Said to pose a hazard to surrounding vehicles due to reflecting light from sun and/ or headlights. But in a CT, you could outrun them. Joke but probably true.

Some of the police around here can be holes. But they don’t get the respect most of them deserve.
I probably would be a hole too.
Good luck outrunning anyone with a 209km/h top speed

The B17 and B24 never were produced with a polished finish. The civilian owners have stripped the paint and zinc chromate and then polished the aluminum. There have been civilian aircraft that have also had that done.

I’d be interested to read the citation of the vehicle code that outlaws this.

It is often said; “You can’t outrun the radio” Add to that, pretty tough to outrun a helicopter in a street legal car, on a public road. And if you think that’s tough, in any major city, the news helicopters will swarm on you flies on (have to stop here because I promised @CyberGus!), well, you know.

To outrun a Helicopter you need to reach well over 250km/h, it is doable in a supercar, just very difficult lol

Not only do you have to go fast, it has to be in a straight line. Don’t forget, if there is a turn or two in there, the helo can cut the corner and fly a shorter distance.

Can the Cybertruck benefit from a nitrus boost?

And the Cybertruck isn't the fastest vehicle. I believe the dual is something like 118 mph, 20 mph slower than dual Y

I was going to say no way in hell, it’s ugly, going to blind people, blah blah blah, then you showed the fuel tanker and I realized I should STFU cause not only would that not be fair but it might actually look really cool! 😆

Probably not, but if you're the CEO of GM, you might need a blast or two of some nitrous to deal with the failures of your BEV development AND your autonomous driving efforts. Just sayin'
