Will not inputting “Finance Partner Information” yet keep them from allocating/shipping?

I’m assuming I can take my time to decide how much I want to finance and with whom, and even though I’m not progressing beyond that step in the app, Tesla should continue with whatever build/shipping process even though that step is outstanding, right?

Stated differently, do I *need* to line that up now? If so presumably I could just say I’m a cash buyer and change at time of delivery, right?

I am in the same boat. I am trying to figure out if I should do financing now. Application is only good for 30-60 days.

I don’t think it makes a difference as approval can take literally minutes

It has never made any difference on my past purchases over the years; I don't expect the Cybertruck to be any different buying experience. In the past, I have changed from Cash to Loan, from Trade-In to No Trade-In, etc. all the way up to the scheduling of delivery. I think once I had to text and speak with a human (by responding to the number which asked me to schedule delivery) to confirm the change, but it always worked out with ease.

Just fill it out for now. Should be able to change it later once you have a vin and a rep appointed to finish the purchase. I put my credit union, all it asked for what what name of credit union and how much I plan to finance. That’s it. You don’t have to actually get a bank pre-approval or anything yet. Not sure if you select Tesla finance if you actually have to do it then. But again, you can put whatever bank and info now, and later actually apply and decide final numbers.

I just changed to say I’m a cash buyer, and I’ll revert back to financing and will input the details as soon as I have a delivery date expectation.
Good idea. I followed your lead.
