What’s the average price people are paying for CT tint work and product being used on front WS, front driver and passenger and small triangles?

I am going 70% windshield/roof and 50% on windows. In our area of the Central Valley, many people go MUCH darker than that and I have never heard of anyone getting a ticket solely for a fix-it ticket for tint.

I am using Wrapbros in our area in two weeks. He already worked on a black PPF wrap and now is doing a Candy Blue. My wife and I decided on a Obsidian Red PPF wrap. Has the darkness I want and has the metallic look she wants.
Where can we see examples of the color of the wrap. Sounds like exactly what I want tbh.

I tinted my side windows with Avery Dennison for $220 at 5% and he doesn't do the windshields as it is too large. I went somewhere else for the windshield which were done in Xpel ceramic at 50% for $500.

Both were fairly priced for what I paid for and the quality of work received. It's not 100% perfect, but I can live and sleep fine with 96%.

And totally illegal they can take your truck modification in California.

Local CHP were crowing about a car they nabbed last week.

(This is definitely an example of privilege, though; where police avoid policing people who look like they can afford lawyers)

If you take the time to get the dermatologist "any tint you want" paperwork in California before you tint your vehicle then the police can get very excited about pulling you over and then very disappointed that they actually have to let you go and can't do a damn thing about your dark tint because you have a medical exemption.

FWIW

Cheers

Technically in California it isn't EXACTLY a "get out of tint jail free" card. The wording of the law makes it sound like there isn't much difference between having the exemption and not having it, actually. But in practice most police won't hassle you about tint if you have the exemption unless the officer is really out to get you or is just being a real prick. Most of them will let you off.

In truth, the main reason for the law is so that when the cops pull you over they can see through the window and know you aren't on the other side pointing a gun at them. It makes them nervous when they can't see through, which in certain instances is understandable. My biggest problem with the police is my inability to keep my mouth shut when it comes to pointing out facts regarding their ineptitude, poor judgment, lack of science knowledge, or audacity of the reason for being pulled over when no reasonable person would but they did it just because they could or needed to fill a quota (yes all of these scenarios have happened to me over the course of my life). I'm not a fan of gifting probable cause to pull you over to the police but if you are going to tint beyond legal limits in your state the best defense is a medical exemption otherwise you will have to remove it, prove you removed it for the fix-it ticket, and then decide if you want to pay to re-install it and take the risk again.

Cheers.

Just this morning $225 for both front windows and two front smaller windows - Llumar IRX 15. They wouldn't do the Windshield, say's they crack yet I have not heard that. I will have to go to the wrap shop, they are tinting windshields but charge like $968

I was thinking 30% on the windshield but might go lighter based on the video posted of 70%

This is my first time doing a tint on any car. I am in Texas and looking at the XPEL PLUS. My question with tint in the front driver and passenger side is it hard to see at night outside if I’m making a right or left turn? Also if I do the windshield will that affect the FSD ability? And what % is dark enough to help take out the heat but able to still see at night while driving?
