HAHAHAH FOR $175?!?!?!?!?

PHUCK OFF. It truly is not "worthy."
What if I told you it was plastic? With a little carbon fiber thrown in for good measure?

**Another possibility would be to just cut these ones I already have in half and use the shades as two separate pieces to install one at a time. That actually may be a good enough solution to make the process significantly less of a hassle.

I did this with mine last summer. MUCH easier to deal with. I leave them stacked on the dash most of the time. Sometimes I put one up, sometimes both. I've thought of putting magnets or something where I cut but probably not worth the bother.

Whoa! No way. How is this working? I hate mine as a whole. It's so cumbersome to the point I don't use it. Two pieces though may be perfect to handle.

The Basenor one on Amazon fits well. It's so big though that everyone has to exit the vehicle before it's deployed.

I bought one on Amazon. It sagged however. So a little diy fix using sticks from Home Depot along the crease line. Working pretty nice for the last month.

I tried the Foronetry shade, which was like trying to put 2 surfboards in and out of the dash. I tried this West-x--- version which sagged and felt like trying to get a blanket to stand up.

Finally, I went old school and bought the largest round wire version I could find. It's still not perfect but it's easier to wrangle. It covers the cabin enough in shade to work fine, it's just not going to reach to the very front of the dash, which I don't care, I don't sit there. I took 2 metal binder clips and put one on the each visor. Then I use neodynium push pin style magnets to hold the shade to the visors easily. Works fine and I don't cuss when I deploy.

Maybe SuperGrok can design an easy bespoke solution for the Cybertruck massive windshield that doesn't piss people off to use.

I use an umbrella-type sunshade (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D3GCVVJ2?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1).

Once you know the trick, it only takes 10-20 seconds to put it up, and 5-10 seconds to collapse and roll it up like an umbrella. One of these days, I will do a YouTube video to share my techniques. I have been using it for the last 11 months, minus the winter months.
I have been using an umbrella style one also but it is large and hard to store. The biggest problem is it seems to be scratching the inside of my windshield.

Anyone try an exterior one?

https://a.co/d/4inT5o9
Did you get this? I’m a proponent of exterior shades, work so much more effective at keeping the heat out.
I'd like something like this, too - but why in Grok's name did they make it black?
White, silver, reflective... anything but black would be better for heat rejection.

I guess maybe to melt snow, as it's other purpose?

Not much to choose from on Amazon unless you want the umbrella type. Any suggestions on where to find a good windshield sunshade for the CT in 2026?

I don’t recommend the umbrella type as the stalk gets caught up behind the monitor. Only used it once. I subsequently bought this one. You can order online from Walmart.
