I went with a clip-in sunshade from Amazon: https://a.co/d/03SLuTLZ

I thought I'd be annoyed at losing the view, but then discovered how much I'd been squinting without them lol
You've had these for a while. Still like them? Do you ever feel the need to take them out?

I occasionally miss the view of the sky, but then the sun comes in from the side and I remember why I got them in the first place 😆

I was considering adding ceramic tint up there but not super dark. Maybe 50% VLT. Actually, the sun doesn't really bother me. Maybe if I could find 70% VLT I'd go with that. It wouldn't block a lot of sun but it'd cut way down on the heat. I'd prefer a pre-cut piece because I don't cut so straight...

Tint would work too, but I wasn’t committed to the idea so I wanted to try something impermanent.

Having sun is nice, but driving straight at it in Texas can be… distracting

LOL. I actually am considering sun direction for my next house... Based on my commute. I mean, given a choice, why would I pick a house on purpose that would have me driving into a morning sun and into an afternoon sun?

In Nebraska...

(2) For purposes of this section and sections 60-6,258 and 60-6,259:

(a) AS-1 line shall mean a line extending from the letters AS-1, found on most motor vehicle windshields, running parallel to the top of the windshield or shall mean a line five inches below and parallel to the top of the windshield, whichever is closer to the top of the windshield;

Looks like this means I can't LEGALLY tint more than 5 inches of the windshield... Our AS-1 line is like 3 feet from the top of the windshield, isn't it? LOL Seems like 3 feet.
