Since the wiper adds to a cleaner air flow over the roof, could adding a second wiper on the other size improve COD?

The increased weight of the additional motor and BAW may not make it worth it.

Added complexity in software, motor timing, wiring, additional parts to break and maintain.

First principles thinking.
The motor adds weight and does nothing to reduce drag.
Just glue a aerodynamic fake wiper made of plastic on to the right-side of the windshield.

I wrote a while back about a 'DUMMY BAW' fitted to the opposite glass edge.
Glue 'n stick......or a line of 'OCTOPUSSY' Suction Cups, similar to roof rack systems.

I'm not so sure that it adds to cleaner air flow. It's a pretty messy profile. Sure it's a long fin, but it would then be better to add a fin on the other side.

I'm quite positive that they did simulations and probably real-world tests with and without it.
