Hello All,
With all the phantom wipes the CT deploys, it has led to some windshield wiper streaking. So, I've purchased new blades, one approximately every 6 months.
I recently installed my 2nd blade replacement (a little after 1 year of ownership), and despite following the instruction manual and being very gentle in my exchange, even before I removed the old blade I noticed that the hose carrying washer fluid had come disconnected from 2 of the clips inside the wiper arm.
I exchanged the new blade, but the hose kind of protrudes at points out from the frame of the wiper arm on the proximal part of the arm.
So I took a closer look at the clips, and when seeing if the hose would just tuck back in into the clip, the clip popped off.
The first image is the broken clip. The second is of where that clip used to reside, and the last photo is another clip where the hose isn't attached, but hasn't broken off (yet?).
Anybody with similar issues? I will place a service request.

58k miles in 14 months on mine now and ironically last night my wipe quit spraying along the wiper edge. Just dumps all the juice there in the middle. Likely all these auto wash tunnels i drive through. Will look at it today and see what’s going on.

Sorry to hear. Mine CT's blade is working just fine. My issue is with the clips in the wiper arm that hold the tubing for the washer fluid to pass through and hook up to the blade. Regarding your issue, the CT service manual I believe talks about using a tiny probe to make sure any holes for the fluid to dispense aren't clogged.

I just replaced my windshield wiper blade and during the process one of the clips fell. And into the well of the frunk so I can’t even find it. Are these easily replaceable? Can’t find it online anywhere

Not sure if it solves the problem but there were a few posts here a while back about a spray mechanism “upgrade” that people were 3d printing. I’ll look and see if I can find it.

I have one missing myself, i dont see a separate part number listed on the EPC and it looks like the wiper arm is sold as one assembly. Might be worth asking Service for the OTC part?

The clip in question holds the spray line against the wiper arm for routing and clearance with the blade

Any luck finding new hose retention clips to replace old plastic ones? Just noticed one of clip was off and I just wiggled mine and it fell off.

Happened to me last year on first wiper change.

had my lightbar installed last month and threw that onto the SC visit. The tech just replaced the whole wiper arm and got a new blade out of it, lesson learned. He said it happens all the time and they have a ton of those parts around.

Going to be 3d printing some out shortly and testing from what another poster shared here. Will update in a few hours how it goes. Mine broke swapping out my blade for the first time.

Hi All,
These little clamps are quite a pain…
Like others here, my washer fluid stopped flowing.
In my case the square block assembly whether it is a filter or a check valve was blocked. Compressed air cleaned it out.
But loosening the hose some of those clamps fell off, some broke, and one fell into a pocket in the truck… lost.
My workaround was using 1/8” black nylon ties.
They secure the hose nicely and they are not nearly as fiddly as the tiny clamps.
Good luck,
Shawn
