bruh, you have to scrape that off your windshield yourself.
People that live in snowy climates learn early to scrape or sweep snow off cars before using a wiper. But people living in warm climates that don't see snow would likely not know that nor even having seen it done. I could see them trying to use the wiper. This is yet another example of the problem with this wiper. If it can't handle this it shouldn't try. With all of the AI Tesla puts into wiper control sensing that it cannot handle a snow (or any other) load would seem obvious.

I have no excuse, I was born and raised in Illinois, I knew better But we don’t carry a snow brush/scraper either, I couldn’t find anything large enough to clear the snow from windshield. My Bad.

Laughing over here b/c I did same exact thing over here in Houston on Tuesday morning. Was so excited to go do donuts in in snow on Baja mode I failed to free the wiper and damned thing was frozen vertically to side of windshield. It ripped right off lol still stuck. ? Thankfully I already had appt for wiper motor recall tomorrow so I will get blade redone at same time as it’s the same part as yours that broke on mine.

Here's when it broke. I defrosted for 10 minutes and made sure the blade was free before using. Watch the end of the blade when it goes fully down. It completely bent itself in half

I watched your video at 1/4 speed and I couldn't see the blade bending itself in half. Did you upload the wrong video?

Also, why did you hold your phone in portrait mode when the subject matter would have been covered better in landscape mode?

I brushed the rest of the snow off by hand after this video. The blade came apart after I drove off about one mile later. I turned it off, but it kept coming on and the two metal structural pieces put about a dozen scratches on the window.

You can see the end of the wiper flop around on this one. I didn't expect anything to happen and didn't even catch that this was when it came apart. It wasn't until later it completely came undone

Me too. But I expected this over-hyped, giant 1kW wiper to handle the job
