People that live in snowy climates learn early to scrape or sweep snow off cars before using a wiper. But people living in warm climates that don't see snow would likely not know that nor even having seen it done. I could see them trying to use the wiper. This is yet another example of the problem with this wiper. If it can't handle this it shouldn't try. With all of the AI Tesla puts into wiper control sensing that it cannot handle a snow (or any other) load would seem obvious.bruh, you have to scrape that off your windshield yourself.
There’s never been a vehicle with a 5’ wiper before either ?I've lived 30 years in snow. Never had a wiper blade fold in half
I have no excuse, I was born and raised in Illinois, I knew better But we don’t carry a snow brush/scraper either, I couldn’t find anything large enough to clear the snow from windshield. I watched your video at 1/4 speed and I couldn't see the blade bending itself in half. Did you upload the wrong video? Here's when it broke. I defrosted for 10 minutes and made sure the blade was free before using. Watch the end of the blade when it goes fully down. It completely bent itself in half
I replaced my wiper and kept the original as a backup.Am I the only one who bought a wiper so it's ready to roll when I need a back up.
I brushed the rest of the snow off by hand after this video. The blade came apart after I drove off about one mile later. I turned it off, but it kept coming on and the two metal structural pieces put about a dozen scratches on the window.I watched your video at 1/4 speed and I couldn't see the blade bending itself in half. Also, why did you hold your phone in portrait mode when the subject matter would have been covered better in landscape mode?
You can see the end of the wiper flop around on this one. I didn't expect anything to happen and didn't even catch that this was when it came apart. It wasn't until later it completely came undoneI watched your video at 1/4 speed and I couldn't see the blade bending itself in half. Did you upload the wrong video?
