Like many of us, I was disappointed to find out that our trucks don't come with spare tires. I've been waiting to buy one from the Tesla shop, but it always seems to be out of stock so I wanted something to keep on hand in the meantime for emergencies.
I have a few other Wolfbox products on my Bronco and really like them, so I decided to go with their MegaFlow 24 tire inflator as I felt like I couldn't go wrong with it. As I do with all of my "emergency" products, I always test them out before I need them to make sure they work, so I figured I'd leave a review here while I'm at it.
First Thoughts:
Its very well packaged and takes up a lot less space than most other tire inflators. It's really easy to use and the transparent design looks great IMO. I also like that you have the option to power it using just the battery or by hooking it up to a 12v socket in the truck.
Testing:
I deflated one of my tires to 30psi, hooked up the MegaFlow, set it to 50psi, turned it on, and let it go. I wasn't sure how well it'd work on just battery power, but it didn't even seem to struggle as the tire pressure went up. It took a few minutes to get to 50psi but I think that's to be expected with the size/tire pressure of our trucks. The battery dropped 1 bar during my test which is better than I expected, so you'll probably need to use the 12v plug if you're doing several tires.
Side note: I saw a tiny bit of smoke after running it for a while, but I reached out to Wolfbox and they stated that it's normal due to the internal oil heating up during use. They recommended letting it cool down after every 15mins of use.
Pros:
Cons:
Overall I'm really happy with this purchase and it gives me some peace of mind until I can get a full sized spare. Hope this review helps some other people out as well

Pros:
- Screws onto the valve stems for a secure fit
- Compact, easy to use
- Has two power options, battery or 12v
- Comes with a nice carrying case and accessories
- Has a built-in flashlight/SOS strobe
- Is fairly quiet
- Auto-stops when it hits the set pressure
Cons:
- None that I could think of
