Absolutely!!! - AWD CT FS

I put my name a day after announcement in Nov 2019. Took delivery on June 4, 2024. I have never looked back.

One problem, after driving the CT you will hate driving other cars, even my wife’s MY.
cheers!
A
I too placed a reservation as soon as it was announced, got delivery July, 24 for FS edition. My ‘24 MX sitting the garage and I keep thinking I should take it out for a spin one day. If it sits there for another few months, I’ll traded for another CT. Especially if they’ll give free FS in the future.

This poll is pretty bullish for future sales. i think the results speak for themselves just how good the Cybertruck actually is.

Most people who throw shade have never even owned one!
True that.

It boggles the mind that there are members on here who do own CTs who voted no.

Like, what have you driven that remotely compares to the CT? I ask sarcastically, because I know the answer is “nothing”

I voted yes like you, but maybe a better question that drills down to the reason some people may have answered that way is, would you buy it again today at the current asking price and social perception of the truck?
Would you buy it if it was x dollars cheaper?
would you buy it if it were invisible on the road?

I would not buy my FS/CB again for $120k. I don’t know any sane person IRL who would. I still find the “pick me” Elon energy here to be very odd. Very strong “newly devout” vibes.

I cannot wrap my head around the “one car to rule them all” mentality either. The Cybertruck is awesome; but, like all things made by humans it’s still flawed.

I tell people all the time that my CB is quicker than my Corvette and nearly as capable as my FJ off-road. But the reality is that it’s not better than either at what they’re made for.

It’s a Swiss Army knife, but I’m not going to choose a Swiss Army knife over one of my purpose built Bench Made knives for any given task, a Wüsthof for the kitchen, a Ka-Bar for a fight, or machete when I need some bush cleared.

The best pistol I own is never gonna replace a rifle. If I could only have one it would be the pistol.

If I could only have one vehicle, for me, it would never be a truck (I’m not a ranch hand); it would be a fast sports coup.

Spending some time actually thinking about this, I’m somewhat surprised to realize that it would probably be ICE.

Then there’s these guys: “I just look at my McLaren/Koenigsegg/Bugatti sitting in the corner collecting dust because I never drive it now.”

OK, but then I have to question why you “bought one” in the first place? ??‍♂

Yes. I’d buy it again but I’d tell my younger self to wait for free supercharging.
100%

I'd even be willing to pay the same amount of money if FSC was included.

I'm 100% certain that without the polarizing design, 6-figure price tag, and political baggage, this would be smoking any other EV truck, period.

No question about it. It wins with SBW/4WS alone.

Imagine a Tesla with SBW/4WS without the listed baggage...I can't imagine any EV competing.

Maybe just a little too ahead of it's time.
