So I was looking at the panel thinking I could install a bigger plug there but they have all electric appliances, dryer, stove, AC, and 2 heater. The panel is 150amps, which doesn’t leave enough for a full 48amp charger. This new meter would work great in their situation. It would turn up the charging amps while appliances are off and turn down while appliances are on automatically. Or they could pay thousands to get the panel upgraded. The new device would save a lot of money.
