Well, that factory protection is not robust enough for the off-road conditions that many Cybertrucks are yet to encounter... Particularly the plastic lower control arm guards, which we simply weren't fond of at all.

I had Artec full aluminum skids on my wrangler and I think those cost about 10x that price. Does “single” in this context mean one panel or many panels needed to cover the entire bottom or just that it’s one piece?

We've been trying to be price friendly for all our skid plates regardless the market we sell them in

The most of the underside of the Cybertruck is decently shielded by sturdy steel sheets, so we prefer not to waste aluminum for that purpose. However, two single skid plates will cover the areas that Tesla overlooked in terms of protection; in the front...
