Hrm, still conflicted on windshield tint %. Wish there was a graded version, less % in more critical areas maybe?

You can always get the clear tint and it’s completely legal here in TX. All my vehicles have it.

I haven’t owned a vehicle in well over a decade without 50% tint on the windshield and 20% on all the sides. Its not as dark as you think it is

Many aren't aware of the infrared heat rejection of windshield tints even at small levels. Not really needed for where I am at, but when in Florida I have it on the 3.

Yes. One reason to get tint is for heat. It doesn't take much to reject heat.

One additional point that some considering this might care about is that ceramic films cause a bit of a rainbow effect through the windshield when wearing polarized lenses.
Unfortunately I don’t know whether the tilt of the windshield on the CT will reduce or magnify this effect.

it doesn’t bother me but seem people really dislike it
