I've been using the BAW a lot the last three weeks and it really does work well. I do think it should spray about 25% more fluid when cleaning though. I might have to investigate opening up some of the fittings that carry the wiper fluid. Probably never get around to it though, since it does work.

When new, I saw the "smear" in the center of the blade that others observed, but this is no longer the case. Just needed a break-in period I guess ?‍♂

Sandy did a PSA video where he discussed skin cancer and removal of cancerous skin cells.

The BAW did not attack Sandy!

The CT is a perfect vehicle for Rain-X, with the long wedge. You should almost never need the wiper for rain. Water just beads and runs off. Of course in snow or mud the wiper is necessary.

While I won't have mine until at least October-December, I have read the entire user's manual. It says
CAUTION
Do not add formulated washer fluids that contain water repellent or bug wash. These fluids can cause streaking, smearing, and squeaking or other noises.

Now maybe separate Rain-X might not be a problem, I don't know. But the easy way, Rain-X washer fluid, is not recommended, even if not mentioned by name.

For some vehicles with more conventional wiper blades, the silicone blade brand "Silblade" can be amazingly long lasting; I've had some that lasted well over seven years, admittedly not dealing with much in the way of ice or snow.

Right now the Cybertruck is too small volume. But I hope some such really long-lived blade replacement becomes possible. That would be one less thing to fool with on a vehicle that as an EV should already need much less regular maintenance than an ICE vehicle.

(the blades that the Silblade site currently lists are obviously way too small for a Cybertruck)
