So that didn’t take long. I’ve owned the truck for about 60 days and an upstanding citizen let me know what he thinks of the truck…

I don't know what it was but it penetrated the stainless steel to scratch my truck... it doesn't rub off as easy as a like a finger print does ( that's funny ) the metal was damaged.

It really is sad that an adult grown man had to do something like this for no other reason. Then most likely he doesn’t like Elons politics. Sorry that happen to you! Really pathetic! You have a good shot of his face I’m sure you would have to do the ground work but if you find him maybe the cops would Actually do something

Stainless is harder than key materials. Couldn't have been much of a scratch.
You absolutely can scratch stainless and it’s worse then if it was painter because it’s not like you can just repaint it

False. The cold rolled stainless steel is really hard compared to paint and normal keys barely leave a mark. It can be polished right out as if it never happened, no need to repaint and blend the repainting in.

sorry to hear about this, but curious what damage was done? if it is a scratch that can be sanded out.
Wes M. Said that the stainless is so hard that the key would be damaged and not the car. So I am curious also.

You can scratch ‘some’ stainless but this isn’t your regular stainless.
