The teenager in me laughs every time I see the word spunk. The adult in me wonders if the people recommending that know what the term used to refer to.
Defined as courage and determination....
"That cybertruck has gobs of spunk".

How about we call it "side storage". Left & Right side storage. Out of respect for all those folks that drive on the wrong side of the road. :)
If you care about which compartment something is in, you can see where the yoke is on that particular vehicle. When speaking generally about a feature in that area, without a specific vehicle to reference, it is probably more relevant whether it is near driver or near passenger, not so much the absolute side of the vehicle.

Yes, after I wrote that comment, to,,I realized driverside will work no matter which side that is.

Sailors solved "which side is this?" name problem long, long ago. There is the port side and there is the starboard side. So...

Front trunk: Frunk
Port trunk: Prunk
Starboard trunk: Srunk

Of course a sailor would change that list to read:

Forward trunk: Frunk
Port trunk: Prunk
Starboard trunk: Srunk

So do we have to use different names when a North American Cybertruck is used in boat mode while floating on the lake? :)

Ha ha! That would only be true in the North America on Bizarro World (or, would that be South America????)

There's likely a yoke, but we don't even know if there will be a frunk!
There is zero chance of losing the frunk. The space available is enormous; what would be in that space if not storage? The advancement of electric architecture greatly improves the packaging efficiency.

About the yoke, there’s going to be a market for steering wheel swaps between Cybertruck and Model3/Y drivers. The yoke makes much more sense in a road only car.

Enormous? You mean, like this hood? The one smaller than the hood on my Fiat 500?

If you think that's enormous, then women have been lying to you your whole life.

Need a lot of room to stash the dashed hopes and dreams of legacy auto fans.
