A Tesla drives into a bar...no punch line, that's the whole joke.

AUSTIN, Texas — It’s been a rough opening for a South Austin business. A bar that just opened for business last week is already dealing with a lot of damage.
The owners of Kelly’s Irish Pub on Oltorf Street said on Saturday that a car drove into their building and then took off.
No one was hurt, but the incident damaged their front window and exterior wall.
Employees were able to board it up on Sunday, and Kelly's is still open for business.
KVUE has reached out to Austin police to see if they're investigating this case but haven't heard back just yet.

It couldn’t have been a Tesla. Everyone knows EV’s burst into flames immediately on impact. If it was a Tesla, half of Austin would be burned to the ground by now.
With a Cybertruck, it would have come out the back. Installing two garage doors would have been a great addition with lots of lights for the bar..

That is out right FUD & a lie.

It is ICE vehicles that burst into flames immediately on impact not Tesla.
It takes at least 5 minutes (sometimes days) for a Tesla to burst into flames AFTER impact.

He was being sarcastic. Probably should have appended a /s to his post to be clear.

Humor doesn’t translate well.

Yes, I thought Bill906 was joking too.

Well, I better go get a day and night jobs because I guess nobody got my reply was TRYING to be a joke too.

I am sure my second sentence about the Tesla would be taken as fact in outside world but on this forum I thought the "at least 5 minutes (sometimes days)" would be the tell for the joke :-(

Yeah, in retrospect I should have marked it as sarcasm. Either "/s" or at least a :).

I laughed.

42 seconds would of been a more realistic time frame though before a Tesla bursts into flames.

Nah.

If 4th quarter turns up significantly worse than projected, SEC will be on him like flies on :poop:

He’s just trying to prop up Twitter.
