that‘s roughly equivalent to 7-8 packs from a ~350mi CyberTruck pack

math’s by no means exact, but the drift of it: more batteries = more range?

Your 1200 is probably quite close. But that would yield just under 98kWh on the current known specs of 4680 cells. Figure the 10% Cyber Cell density, you're at 107.8kWh. If Cybertruck accomplishes a ~3mi/kWh efficiency figure - that 107.8kWh pack lands at 323 miles.

Now I'm interested in where they'll add the rest of the cells for 500 mile version. If you have to increase that number by almost 30%

I ran the numbers 3 days before handover to PEPSICO, showing 850 kWh pack with 1.7 kWh consumed over a mile. (scaled:82K lbs)
Elon said a few days after the event on Twitter they are getting the 1.7 kWh/mile with a possibility of improving to 1.6 or lower over time.
Edit: Maybe you spotted my CT numbers showing a 175 kWh pack with a usable ~163 kWh giving a range of ~507 miles, while consuming 1 kWh to travel 3.1 miles, and from memory ~108 MPGe.
I'd have to find the exact modelling, but this will do as a guideline for those interested parties. Come the BIG PARTY, we'll all know for sure, sooooooon(!)

I badly NEED the QUAD to go 500miles.
Call it 'WRONG'____ l can live with that(!)
If push comes to shove and Australian deliveries only get the QUAD with ~350 miles l take that on the cheek(!)

Interesting. If OPTIMUS came with HW4 computer, do we need cameras on cars ? Basically any car can be 'self driving'. Providing, Optimus can swivel.
