The 2WD Model Y is widely available in Europe.I have bad news for anyone hoping to get a rear wheel drive “Entry Level” Cybertruck. The only Tesla you can currently order with rear wheel drive is the Model 3, which may very well lose that option once the configurator is updated for the new Model 3 Highland. There was once upon a time a promise of a rear wheel drive Model Y, and I suppose they did make a small handful of them, but their basically unicorns, and the planed RWD Model X never happened, Model S also lost its RWD config. back in late 2017. Frankly the number of people who truly want a 2wd truck vs 4wd truck will be such a small minority that it probably won’t make sense for Tesla to produce a 2wd variant anytime soon if ever. Maybe in a couple years when the sales hype wares off there might be a small possibility of a striped down work version of the truck, but I wouldn’t be holding my breath, especially seeing as none of the competition is offering 2WD even in their basic work truck configurations.
