Noticed glitter like shine underneath all perforated seats

Was it when you shined your phone light at it? Thats the foam underneath i think. I just cleaned my seats and noticed the same

Were the seats ceramic coated? When both our Y and later the CT were brand new (literally the day after each was brought home) I cleaned the seats with Gyeon cleaner and coated them with Gyeon EVO Leather Seat Ceramic. Shortly after, when in bright light or sunlight I noticed the sparkle effect you describe. Even if not caused by a ceramic coating, it’s a far better cause-effect than some goofy responses above suggested.

BTW both sets of seats look as good as the day I applied the ceramic. Also did Basenor center console cover in each, rear seats, dash, steering wheel & side panels. The stuff works great! Note: shading on Y seat photo caused by my flashlight. They are brilliant white in-person.

It is the stainless dust from the exterior that gets sucked into the ventilated seats making them not cool down....
